About Me

I am a System Engineer , hailing from Nghe An province and now based in Ho Chi Minh City. I am a honesty, integrity, and a passion for embracing challenge. My background includes active involvement in the Youth Union, where I learning many skill set and earned a little bit of honors and awards. I was ensured solid professional quality with a focused Information Security from the University of Information Technology. My ultimate career goal is to become a Solution Architect.

My field of interests are building new distributed system with high availability, scalability, reliability and also in areas related to Cloud computing.

With a history worked in VNG Corporation, I work both in VNGGame and Zalo, where allow me setup, handler, operation, maintenance large system such as some global game and hadoop eco systemI also experienced work with AWS, GCP and Azure.

At the moment, I am not ready for a job that requires a high level of English. Despite of that, I will improve as soon as possible.

Skills

As a System Engineer, I work with both on premise and cloud platform. My whole life is working with linux. My personal skill sets include but not limit at:

• Programing: shell script, py script, ansible, terraform. Knowledge at golang, Cloud Function.

• Cloud Platform: I have experience with AWS, Google Cloud, OpenNebula, VNG Cloud. Azure is less.

• Service and tools: I worked with/built cluster Grafana Lab, Promotheous, iptables, Docker Engine, (s)FTP, MySQL, Postgres, Supervisor, Bitbucket, Airflow, MLFlow, H2O, Nginx, CEPH, PowerDNS, Apache Hadoop, Yarn, Ranger, Kerberos, Openldap, Kafka, Redis, ELK stack, ClickHouse, Apache Doris.

I usually hand on benchmark task. I benchmarked Cloud Provider (compare between them), PowerDNS resolve performance, network congestion, CPU performance (compare AMD, Intel, ARM when running nginx). You can see some post on my blog. Detail in my resume bellow.

I am interested in doing some personal projects. All of them contribute a lot to my skills. They can be this blog, thesis template or automation task project. You can see my activities on my github profile.

Education

As you can see on my resume above, I spend all education time on University of Information Technology. I graduated from university with a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Information Security.

Honor and Awards

When I was student, I spend very much time about Youth Union and grant some achievement. The biggest record is the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training, where my friends and I were awarded on TV. I was also awarded a scholarship by Hessischer Minister für Wissenschaft und Kunst, Federal Republic of Germany. They prove I am an active person, always fighting challenges and never giving up. I keep that spirit in both current work and life.
